ROKTOPUSS Featuring Ex-MEGADETH Guitarist: New Song Posted Online

ROKTOPUSS, the new band featuring guitarist Jeff Young (ex-MEGADETH),singer Lorraine Lewis (ex-FEMME FATALE),drummer Roxy Petrucci (ex-VIXEN) and bassist E.J. Curse (NO DUH),has posted a one-minute sample of a new track, entitled "Away", on its MySpace page. The track was helmed by renowned producer Michael Wagener (SKID ROW, HAMMERFALL, ACCEPT, KING'S X at his WireWorld studios in Nashville, Tennessee and was previously described by Young as having "a Southern California-fried STONES, AC/DC, T.REX kind a vibe to 'em and Lorraine's vocals are equisitely poignant."

Jeff Young co-wrote two compositions on Badi Assad's 2005 Deutsche Grammophon release, "Verde" (or "Green" in English). The album was released in America on September 13, 2005, having already charted in the Top 15 on Europe's World Music Charts. The two songs co-written by Jeff and Badi are track #2 ("Nao Adianta") and track #12 ("The Being Between").
